At New Life Church we have made it a priority to reach out to Taber and the surrounding communities through various outreach activities. We are involved in the community because we want to help make a difference in peoples lives.

Here are some of the community programs that we are involved in:

KICKBACK in The Park
For the first time in July of 2006 we held an event called "KICKBACK". After a long winter we thought it would be a good time to organize an event for the community of Taber to enjoy the weather, fun atmosphere and to just KICKBACK and enjoy yourself. Everyone in the church helped out in some way at this event which includes face painting, games, food (and lots of it), prizes, jump castles, etc...
A special thanks to the S.T.O.P Team from Regina who not only help out at this event but is involved with "Vacation Bible Camp" held in Taber during this week.

In 2007 we held it for a second year and had a great turnout - 300 people! Thanks to everyone who helped.

SHINE Women's Conference
This event began in 2006 as a way to reach out and minister to the women in Taber. What a fantastic event! The women in the community are pampered, attend information sessions from some great speakers on topics that are important for women. Guest speaker "Katherine Gagne" shared a wealth of information with us as well as demonstrate a unique style of "Karate Kicks". One person receives a make-over during the event thanks to many of our local community sponsors. A Special Thanks to all of our Sponsors, Speakers, Volunteers and the ladies from Regina in making this event a huge success!

Operation Block
Ever see a group of people wearing brightly coloured Orange T-Shirts around town? That'd be us helping people in the community by cleaning up yards, laying sod, moving, house clean up and cleaning up after the Taber Cornfest and around town. This coming year we will be adopting our local neighborhood blocks and helping the residence with any extra jobs around their homes.
