Senior Pastor Richard Klok was born and raised in Taber Alberta and has been involved in business and farming for over 30 years. Richard and Margaret met while they were attending bible school. They have been married for 25 years and have four children. The Kloks are very involved in the community through volunteer work and church activities.

Pastor Richard and Margaret Klok  were ordained to Minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Pastor New Life Church in November 2002. Previously, the Kloks served as Elders and on the Leadership Team at New Life Church for over 10 years.

The Kloks minister to people within the church, the community and in other countries in the areas of preaching, caring, leadership, community involvement and missionary work.

They have a strong passion to see lives radically changed through the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Taber community.

Pastor Richard and Margaret see solutions to life’s various problems in the bible. The bible's teachings are relevant to our lives today.

Elders David Greeno and Karlis Kesans where set-in as Elders in February 2006.

David was the original pastor of New Life Church from 1980-1989. David and his wife Judy have been serving in leadership for over 26 years with New Life church. They have a heart for missions and reaching the lost.

Karlis and his wife Christine and family are originally from Wales. They moved to Taber from Grande Cache Alberta in 2001. They have been a great addition to New Life Church with their gifting, abilities and leadership

Teams
New Life Church is blessed to have many people involved with numerous ministries within the church. At New Life Church there is a ministry opportunity for everyone. Where is your passion? Here is a partial list of the various ministries and people who have a passion for these areas:

Financial Team - Senior Pastor Richard Klok, David Greeno, Karlis Kesans and Pat Kavanagh. This team is involved in the decisions in the church related to the allocation of monies to various ministries and expenses.

Leadership Team - Pastor Richard and Margaret Klok, David and Judy Greeno, Karlis and Christine Kesans, and Pat and Linda Kavanagh. This team is involved with planning events and ministry opportunities in Taber and missionary work in other countries.

Care Group Leaders - Ralph and Kathy Boersma, Nolan and Kathy Day, Rendy and Sandra Shuya, Rick and Donna Jansen, Pat and Linda Kavanagh, Jim and Marie MacGregor. These leaders along with their interns lead a weekly Care Group Meeting in church members homes. Each Care Group is made up of church members who draw closer to each other for support, prayer, learning, fellowship and of course fun!
